Another week, another chance for Ohio State to show it is the cla s of the Big Ten.The third-ranked Buckeyes made good on their latest opportunity against No. 18 Penn State, handily beating the Nittany Lions 38-25 in Beaver Stadium on Sunday. That started with another brilliant performance by quarterback Justin Fields, who completed 28 of 34 pa ses for 318 yards and four touchdowns; he spread the ball around a lot as well, hitting Chris Olave (seven receptions, 120 yards, two touchdowns); Garrett Wilson (11 receptions, 111 yards); and Jeremy Ruckert (four receptions, 25 yards, two scores).The Buckeyes had plenty of succe s in the ground game as well: Master Teague III rushed 23 times for 110 yards and a score. Trey Sanders got some good gainers too, rushing 13 times for 56 yards. And Wilson started the game off with a 62-yard gain off an end-around.Still, give credit to a Penn State team that refused to fade in the second half. The Nittany Lions scored 19 second-half points off three Sean Clifford-to-Jahan Dotson touchdowns (of 14, 21 and 20 yards, respectively). Clifford ended the game completing 18 of 30 pa ses for 281 yards, three touchdowns and an interception. Dotson finished with eight catches, 144 yards and the three scores.In all, Ohio State out-gained Penn State 526-325, including 208-44 on the ground.
