Your washing machine has probably cleaned your clothes hundreds of times without you knowing how. You just put the clothes inside along with fabric softener and cleaner, turn it on and just walk away and wait for it to finish.
Start
Before you actually attempt to do laundry, there are a few decisions you need to make. There are many settings you can choose to ensure your clothes are washed properly without any disasters such as shape or size change and best washing machine colored dyes throughout the load.
Modern washing machines are much easier to operate than the old ones. You need to choose the right temperature for the clothes you want to wash, as well as the right wash cycle for them. For example,
if you are washing wool, there is usually a temperature displayed on the garment label to follow and a wash cycle that is compatible with the wool. A suitable detergent and/or fabric softener must be added to the washing box. Now that you have the basics done, you can start your laundry.
First step
The door will automatically lock and not open until the wash cycle is complete or you press the stop button. This is where water enters the washing machine, usually coming from a hose that also feeds the cold tap on your sink.
