You need be required to have an Australian bachelor’s degree or higher with a major in ICT which is closely relevant to the chosen occupation (ANZSCO) and one of the following requirements you need to satisfy for a suitable skills assessment:

 

  • 1 year of related work experience completed after the completion date of the related Australian degree, or
  • Completing an ACS Professional Year Program.

 

Pathway C: Skills

  • It is a general skill assessment application to evaluate tertiary ICT qualifications and ICT employment.
  • You will be required to have a qualification equivalent to AQF Bachelor Degree or Higher with an ICT Major + 2 years of experience in the last 10 years, or
  • Qualification that is equivalent to AQF Bachelor Degree or Higher with an ICT Minor + 5 years of experience in the last 10 years, or
  • Qualification equivalent to AQF Diploma or Vendor Certification + 5 years of work experience in the last 10 years.

Pathway D (Recognition of Prior Learning):

This pathway you can use if you hold qualifications with insufficient or no ICT content, or if not having any ICT qualifications.

You need a non-ICT Qualification equivalent to an AQF Diploma or higher + 6 years of related work experience
