This is number one on this list for a reason. The biggest yet most difficult issue NBA 2K24 needs to get a better grip on, is toxic gameplay in MyCAREER NBA 2K24 MT. For those that play online NBA 2K MyCAREER modes such as REC, the Theater, and the Park, it’s almost a daily custom to encounter some form of toxic gameplay.

Whether a player is standing still and not moving, quitting out of a game early, not passing you the ball, or the fan favorite, using timeouts mid-play to get the ball back or thwart another’s success, the online gameplay in NBA 2K MyCAREER has to be one of the most toxic player environments, and that simply has to improve in NBA 2K24.

The fact of the matter is that on top of purchasing NBA 2K games as is, there’s a ton of extra money fans put into the game and its editions to improve their MyPLAYER builds and or customise their players as they see fit with some awesome attire. And with so many fans doing so, only to then have to play through games where they deal with this kind of behavior, it’s unfair to them and those just trying to play and have fun. Stricter penalties need to be implemented, and NBA 2K24 has to make that of their biggest priorities this year.

Although this is a possibility, NBA 2K has yet to announce the actual reveal date for MyTEAM, so it could be different than the one we’re predicting. NBA 2K24 has not posted any of its reveals at this time of writing, but will start doing so over the course of August. Leading up to 2K Day in September, fans can expect to see multiple NBA 2K24 trailers. As we head into the month of August, NBA 2K24 has only released one trailer so far, which pertains to the arrival of crossplay.

Though the NBA 2K24 release date is still several weeks away, more trailers will be arriving in August and September.
